Michael Hugh Sheets, 57, of Mtn. Valley Rd. Broadway died April 14, 2012 at his residence.
He was born November 8, 1954 in Illinois and was a son of Elaine Wanders Sheets of Illinois and the late Hugh Sheets.
He had worked for the Salvation Army in Harrisonburg.
Surviving are a son, Michael A. Sheets of Broadway; a daughter, Charity Myers of Winchester; brothers, Gary “Jake” Sheets of Port Republic, Roy Sheets of McGaheysville; sisters, Hazel Diehl of Ohio and Wanda Vollmer of Illinois; three grandchildren.
The body was cremated and a private burial will be held at a later date.
