U.S. Veteran

Charles Wilson Gould, 97, of Broadway, VA died June 13, 2012 at his daughter’s residence in Broadway.

He was born January 29, 1915 in Pennsylvania, and was a son of the late John and Ella Coyle Gould.

He was a tax accountant for the I.R.S. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

On March 13, 1942 he married the former Rose Margaret Wily who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Fultz of Broadway, Rose Marie Gunnoe of Colorado; Two sons, James Gould of Nashville, TN, Michael Gould of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Thank you Kathy Smith (Sissy) for being like a daughter, a friend, and wonderful companion to daddy. He loved you as his own, everybody just called him “Daddy” and what a wonderful father he was to everyone. Daddy will be missed by all who knew him. Also we would like to thank Ashley and all the other companion's. Tranquility Spa would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.

Pastor Bernie Fuska will conduct a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Monday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 P.M. Sunday at the Grandle Funeral Home.
