Adam Wayne Flick, 45, of Broadway passed away December 27, 2024 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

He was born June 18, 1979 in Harrisonburg and was the son of Carla Emswiler Flick of Harrisonburg and the late Nelson Flick.

Adam worked at Lakeside Book Co. as a forklift operator.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and NASCAR fan and was a member of the Broadway Vol. Rescue Squad and the New Market Eagles.

On May 27, 2023 he married the love of his life since he was 17, Sherry Smith Ritchie who survives.

Also surviving is a stepson, Shea Ritchie and wife Mandi of Broadway; step grandson, Zane Ritchie; brother, Chase Flick and wife Crystal; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; very special aunt, Missy Wilkins; grandmother who helped raise him, Sharon Ritchie.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Ritchie.

Per Adam's wishes his body will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Adam was an organ donor and in his death was able to help other people.
