Alexandra Elizabeth DeMello, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2022, in her family cottage in Timberville, VA. She was just shy of 38 years old.

Alexandra (Alex / Al) was born in Redwood City, CA on September 24, 1984.  She went to Sequoia High School and then Cañada College in Redwood City.

Alexandra was a special person who was a light in many lives. She was joyful and always ready to dance. She loved life and left us too early.

You may have been lucky to know Alexandra. It could have been from her warm welcomes when visiting Third Hill Winery at DeMello Vineyard or at Life Care helping your loved ones.

Despite some adversities, Alexandra worked hard every day. She volunteered at Life Care in New Market; she was rewarded the Carl W. Campbell, Wind Beneath My Wings award for her commitment to the residents, families, and staff with exceptional kindness and compassion in 2018.

She was our beloved 'Al' - a daughter, a little sister, an aunt, a granddaughter and so much more.
