Anna Catherine Kline Showalter, 91, of Broadway VA passed away June 23, 2024 at Life Care Center in New Market VA.

She was born September 3, 1932, in Broadway VA, to the late Grant P.  and Lucy Rinker Kline.

Anna graduated from Broadway High School and worked at First National Bank of Broadway, Rockingham Poultry Feed Mill in Broadway. She was a member of Cedar Run Church of the Brethren, was a board member and longtime treasurer, she also attended Sunset United Methodist Church.

On June 22, 1952 she married Paul D. Showalter who preceded her in death on   July 14, 2016.

Anna is survived by sons; Kevin E. Showalter and wife Dixie of Timberville, Michael S. Showalter and wife Sabrina, of Lake Wales FL., son- in-law, James Costello of Kearneysville WV, Grandson, James Paul " J.P'' Costello and wife Katelynn of Kearneysville WV and great grandson Wyatt Costello, sisters; Nancy Brannon of Elizabeth City NC, Virginia Strickler of Broadway , Sandra Whetzel of Broadway.

In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by, daughter Paula A Costello, brother Clarence Kline and sisters Charlotte Billhimer and Alice Pickett.

There will be no visitation, the body will be cremated.

A private Graveside burial will be conducted at Cedar Run Church Cemetery.
