Austin Vincent High, 60, of Timberville, VA passed away June 1, 2026.

He was born on January 7, 1966 in Harrisonburg to the late John Henry and Violet Lambert High.

Austin was a sanitation driver for Waste Movers in Crimora

On July 4, 1986 he married the former Connie Smith who survives.

In addition to his wife, Austin is survived by his son, Brandon High of Timberville; granddaughter, Cadence High; brother, Galen High of Harrisonburg; sister, Amanda Adkins of Elkton.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were two sisters, Patricia Fletcher and Sandra Dolly.

Pastor Glen Turner will conduct a funeral service 1:00 PM Saturday June 6 at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway. Burial will follow at Trissels Mennonite Church Cemetery in Broadway.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Grandle Funeral Home.
