Barbara Ann Smith, 79, of Rockingham VA, passed away on December 10, 2023 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on July 22, 1944 in Harrisonburg VA, to the late Fred Alston and Nellie Fay Hinkle Smith.

Barbara worked at Wampler Long Acre and attended the Timberville Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a daughter; Diane Deviers of Hinton VA, son; C. Jay Crider of Timberville VA, brother; Kermit "Wink" Gene Smith of Rockingham, sister; Carolyn Fay Corbin of Keezletown VA; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside services will be held on December 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Valley United Methodist Cemetery.

Barbara's wishes were to be cremated.  There will be no services at the funeral home.
