Beatrice Bradfield Sager, 98, of Broadway, VA, died January 26, 2024 at Willow Estates in Penn Laird, VA.

She was born April 4, 1925 in Hardy County, WV.

Beatrice retired after 30 years as a lab technician for Wampler Longacre. She was a member of Sunset Drive United Methodist Church in Broadway.

On March 11, 1945 she married Roy Franklin Sager, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2001.

Surviving are two sons; James "Jim" F. Sager, of St. Augustine, FL, Gilbert L. Sager and wife Esther, of Ephrata, PA, two half-sisters; Judy Lee Fields, of Quicksburg, VA, Brenda Schaeffer, of New Market, VA, three grandchildren; Kevin L. Sager, James F. Sager, II, Lisa M. Wilson, and two great grandchildren; Chase Wilson, Michaela Wilson.

She was preceded in death by a son; Keith L. Sager, half-brother; Wayne Weatherholtz and granddaughter; Caroline E. Sager.

A memorial service is planned for Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Drive United Methodist Church, officiated by George Fulk.  Burial will be private at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

Friends may visit Grandle Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31 from 9:00 AM- 7:00 PM to pay their respects and sign a guestbook.
