Obituary

Betty Ann Faulconer, 79, of Mathias, WV, lost her battle to Alzheimer's on November 24, 2023 at the E.A. Hawse Healthcare Center in Baker, WV.

She was born on April 13, 1944, in Riverdale, MD to the late Thomas Irvin and Edwina Miller Faulconer.

Betty graduated from Laurel High School in 1962 and obtained her associate degree in Dental Radiology. Throughout her life she worked in many industries such as Maryland state government, healthcare, and insurance. Betty enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved gardening, painting, dancing, and Elvis Presley. She is remembered for being a great; mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend.

Betty is survived by daughter, Tina Perkins of Mathias, WV; sons, Thomas Perkins (Jane) of Pasadena, MD, Timothy Perkins of Chincoteague, VA; grandchildren, Britany Perkins, Mason Perkins, Troy Perkins, Amber Perkins, and Ashley Mackay; five great grandchildren and Kobe; sister, Linda Barkman (Charles); stepsister Robin Hall-White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by a son, Ervin Perkins III; siblings, Josephine Stix, Ruby Hensley, Jimmie Faulconer, Cindy Stamp, and Sherry Cave.
