Betty Lee Runion, 72, of Broadway, passed away on December 18, 2023 at Life Care Center in New Market VA.

She was born, April 1, 1951, in Page County, to the late Russell Levi and Hattie Lucas Short.

Betty was a self-employed housekeeper, attended Christian Fellowship in Timberville.

She is preceded in death by her husbands; Jerry Edward Runion Sr. and James Edward Stinnett, son Jerry Edward Runion Jr.

Betty is survived by daughters; Elizabeth Ann McElory of Washington, Teresa Louise Baccetti, of Washington, son; Richard Lee Lucas of Stanley, brothers; Franklin Short and Tommie Levi Short of Stanley, Eddie Lee Short of Nashville TN, sister; Sylvia Fulk of Timberville, and six grandchildren.

Pastor Robert Wilder will conduct a funeral service 2:00 pm Friday at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway VA, burial will follow service at Linville Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
