Bobby Wayne Weaver, 80, of Bridgewater VA, passed away September 9, 2024 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville VA.

He was born October 25, 1943 in Broadway VA, to the late Harry V. and Glenna Sherman Weaver.

Bobby worked as a self-employed accountant for 55 years.  He graduated from Broadway High School and Madison College. He had a love for restoring British and American cars, genealogy, and watching JMU Football.  He was a member of Cedar Run Church of the Brethren.

On August 23, 1970 he married Katherine (Kay) Cline, who survives.

Bobby is also survived by sons: Matthew and wife Rebecca of Bridgewater, Jonathan and wife Sarah of Charlottesville, Robert of Harrisonburg, grandchildren Salem and Piper Weaver, sisters; Patsy Will and husband Larry of Chestertown MD, Judy Estep and husband Chuck of Harrisonburg.

Pastor Ken Fox will conduct a graveside service 2:00 pm Sunday at Cedar Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery near Broadway.

There will be no viewing or visitation at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
