Bobby Dean Wilkins, 68, of Mathias, WV passed away February 15, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born September 30, 1955 in Mathias to the late Maynard L. Wilkins and the late Sylvia Shipe Wilkins Mongold.

Bobby was a forklift mechanic at Bowman Apples/Andros.  He was a member of Mathias Church of the Brethren, and a member of Mathias-Baker Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Deana Hall and husband Isaac of Mathias; son, Wesley Wilkins of Mathias, brother, Dennis Mongold and wife Joyce of Fulks Run; sisters, Linda Whetzel and husband Jim of Pennsylvania, Phyllis Wilkins of Mathias, Michelle Biller and husband Jason of Broadway; grandsons, Clayton Hall, Marcus Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, his stepfather, Darlan "Jake" Mongold, preceded him in death.

Pastors Arlena Mongold, Jim Corbitt, and Russell Webster will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 AM Wednesday at New Life Apostolic Church in Mathias. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday at Grandle  Funeral Home in Broadway.
