Brenda Joy Carr Reese, 71, of Fulks Run VA, passed away on December 8,2023 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born November 25, 1952 in Harrisonburg VA, to the late Noah and Marjorie Louise Fulk Carr.

Brenda was a member of the Independent Community Church in Singers Glen. She loved her family and friends; she served and did anything for anyone and would do it with a smile.

Surviving is a daughter; Becky Reedy and husband Vic of Fulks Run, sisters; Anna Dove of Fulks Run, Kathy Hensley and Larry of Elkton, Kay Brunson and husband Jessie of Fulks Run, brothers; David Carr of Fulks Run, Daniel Carr and wife Jackie of Lacey Springs, numerous nieces and nephews and a special niece; Kathy Eavers of Dayton and her beloved cat, Callie.

Brenda was preceded in death by special niece, Crystal Eavers, who called her Nana, niece; Michelle Moyer, nephews; Chad Carr, Jesse Brunson.

Friends and family may pay respects and sign the guestbook 9 am to 7 pm Thursday  at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway where the casket will be closed.

Pastor Jerry Shiflet and Pastor Dan Horning will conduct a graveside service at 2:00 PM Friday at the Mount Grove Cemetery in Fulks Run.
