Bruce Allen Wilkins, 76, of Mathias, WV passed away July 24, 2026 at the Summit Square Assisted Living in Waynesboro.

He was born November 14, 1949 in Harrisonburg to the late Orlando B. and Lona V. Moyer Wilkins.

Bruce was a Vietnam Army Veteran serving as an MP, SP4 and he was a member of the N.R.A.  He was also a carpenter and a farmer.  He retired after eight and half years from Kennametal in New Market. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman, but his favorite thing was spring gobbler hunting.

On July 10, 1976 he married the former Sue Ellen Souder who survives.

Also surviving is a sister, a nephew, a niece, an aunt, numerous cousins, and many friends.

Pastor Bob Curns will conduct a funeral service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Mathias Church of the Brethren.  Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mathias.

Those wishing to pay respects may do so Tuesday from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.  The family will also receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
