Carl Herbert Blosser, 86, of Broadway VA, passed away on January 8,2026 at his residence.

He was born on January 20,1939 in Shenandoah County, to the late Kirby and Dorothy Sours Blosser.

Carl was a Veteran of the US Army.  He worked at Virginia Power as a 1st class serviceman, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Broadway.

On May 20, 1964 he married the former Shirley Shenk, who preceded him in death on February 10, 2024.

Carl is survived by a son, Michael Blosser of Broadway; daughters, Donna Blosser and fiancé Craig Cook of Harrisonburg, Amy B. Miller and husband Travis of Bridgewater; three grandchildren, Ashley Comer, Chase Comer, and Marleigh Miller; one sister, Mary Eaton of Timberville; one brother, Douglas Blosser of Dillwyn, VA; caregiver, Stephanie Corral, and beloved dog, Molly.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers; Robert Blosser Sr., Donnie Blosser; and sister Eleanor McClure.

Pastor Kevin Gerber will conduct a graveside service Wednesday at 3:00pm at Zirkle Cemetery in New Market VA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-7pm at Faith Baptist Church in Broadway. The casket will be closed.
