Charles William Knupp, 84, of Broadway passed away February 16, 2024 at his residence.

He was born July 25, 1939 in Rockingham Co. to the late John Henry and Ruby Fitzwater Knupp.

Charles worked for Shenandoah Manufacturing.  He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church where he was a Trustee and church greeter for many years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed a good card game with his family.  Charles also enjoyed the large garden he put out every year.

On January 20, 1961 he married the former Alda Shoemaker who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Sheila Miller(Jason), Charles Knupp II(Donna), Curtis Knupp(Debra), Kevin Knupp; grandchildren, Kyle Knupp, Jamie DePoy, Holly Knupp; great grandson, Gabriel Knupp; siblings, Donnie Knupp, Gary Knupp, Barbara Green, Debbie Showalter.

Preceding him in death was a grandson, Christopher Knupp; brothers, Carroll and Jack Knupp.

Pastors Dale Brubaker, Steve Estep, and Milard Sonifrank will conduct a funeral service  11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Bethel Mennonite Church near Broadway.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
