Darlene Mitchell, 87, of Timberville, died November 14, 2023 at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock.

She was born July 18, 1936 in Mathias, WV and was a daughter to the late Loy and Delma Cullers Moyer.

She was a homemaker and member of Crab Run Church of the Brethren in Mathias.

On October 5, 1991 she married Jesse R. Mitchell, who survives.  Darlene was preceded in death by her first husband Cletus Hupp.

Also surviving are two daughters; Pam O'Roark, of Bergton, Sheila Hupp, of Bergton, a son; Kent Hupp, of Broadway, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a brother; Frank Moyer, of Bergton.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law; Jim and Ellen Moyer.

She will be cremated and there will not be any services.
