Darlene Kay Runion, 64, of New Market VA, passed away March 13, 2024 at her residence.

She was born November 14,1959 in Harrisonburg VA, to Helen Moomaw Brunk of Broadway and the late Ronald Brunk, Sr.

Darlene was a homemaker.

On July 16, 1973 she married Ernest Dale Runion, who preceded her in death on August 11, 1992.

In addition to her mother, Darlene is survived by daughters; Tina Barb (Henry) of Broadway, Priscilla Cortez Quinones of Broadway, Cecillia Runion of Broadway, sons; Sammy Runion of Broadway, Ernest Dale Runion, Jr. of Broadway, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, sister; Carolyn Brunk Cubbage of Broadway.

Her brother Ronnie Brunk, Jr., preceded her in death.

Pastor Roger Osborne will conduct a funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Bethesda Mennonite Church near Broadway. The burial will follow at Bethesda Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
