David Lynn Orebaugh, 61, of Broadway, passed away December 14, 2023 near his home.

He was born April 19, 1962 in Harrisonburg, the son of Maxine Will Orebaugh of Broadway and the late Merle Orebaugh.

David attended Broadway High School, he worked as maintenance supervisor for Hammond Asset Management and enjoyed Heating and Air Conditioning and carpentry work, was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved bowling. David enjoyed helping neighbors. He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Timberville. He was dearly loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

David was married to the late Lorrie Lynn Dovel Orebaugh, who passed away March 26,2015.

Surviving is a daughter; Meagan Wingate, of Illinois, son; David Orebaugh of Harrisonburg, grandsons; Benjamin and Alton, brothers; Jeffery, Tim, Rodney Orebaugh of Broadway, nephews; Jaeson, Ryan, Aaron, Rodney A, Derick Orebaugh, niece; Jeanette Miller, close cousin; Denise Bass.

Due to the inclimate weather forecast the memorial service scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ will be moved to Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ in Timberville.
