Delmas Cleveland Callahan, 74, of Linville, VA passed away November 12, 2024 at his daughter's residence.

He was born February 4, 1950 in Harrisonburg to the late Charles Ervin and Mary Elizabeth Mohler Callahan.

Delmas was a machine operator for Wetsel Seed Company before retiring.  He was a member of Mt. Zion Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are two sons, Tommy Callahan of Linville, Chris Callahan (Regina) of Broadway; one daughter, Lynette Wine (Tim) of Broadway; three grandchildren, Seth Callahan, Tyler Wine (Louanna), MaKayla Wine (Andrew Windsor); three great grandchildren, Lane Wine, Bryce Wine, Lily Windsor; two brothers, Donnie Callahan (Sue), Carl Callahan (Nancy); one sister, Sharon Branum (Darrell); special niece, Sherry Mohler; numerous nieces and nephews; special cat, Kitty Chop; and special dog, Monique.

Pastor John Prater will conduct a funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday at Mt. Zion Church in Singers Glen.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sentara Hospice, 871 M.L.K. Jr, Way Suite 203, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
