Dorothy Mae Burris, 83, of New Market, died August 16, 2025 at her home.

She was born June 2, 1943 in Charles Town, WV and was a daughter to the late Jack and Agnes Boyd Anderson.

She was a housewife.

On November 5, 1974 she married Jimmy Burris, who survives.

Also surviving are a son; Bobby Brower (Debbie), of Woodstock, a daughter; Debbie Ann Brower, of Luray, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Her body will be cremated and there will not be any services.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
