Eli Richard Hornick, Jr. 75 of Rockingham, VA passed away November 1, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born February 22, 1950 in Newport News, VA to the late Eli R., Sr. and Tressie Jenkins Hornick.

Eli served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a truck driver for U.S. Express Trucking.

On August 20, 1976 he married the former Karen Sue Turner, who preceded him in death April 23, 2018.

Surviving are four sisters, Nancy Taylor, Ruth Jaso, Sue Burton, Elizabeth "Crickett" Guthrie; one brother, John Hornick; numerous nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Debi Woolf.

At Eli's request, he was cremated.  There will be no services at Grandle Funeral Home
