Elwood Franklin Biller, 83 of Broadway passed away July 10, 2026 at his residence.
He was born August 19, 1942 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Marshall and Zovada Turner Biller.
Elwood has had many places of employment over the years; Cootes Store Service, Hillside Shop, Kennedy's Konstruction Co., Rocco, and lastly Georges. From muscle cars, to tractors, to big trucks on the job Elwood enjoyed working on anything with an engine. He liked the outdoors; watching deer and wildlife, walks to the creek, and mowing the yard. When indoors he liked playing cards and enjoying a good meal. For Elwood it didn't get much better than an evening spent playing Rook and sharing a bushel of crabs with friends and family. His dog peanut was always by his side.
On April 4, 1961 he married the former Janice Runion, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, David Biller(Linda), Dale Biller; grandchildren, Melissa Gilmore and husband Jeremy, Amanda Rumer and husband Brandon, Matthew Biller and wife Nancy; foster son, Jonathan Rogers; great grandchildren, Ethan, Ava, Mason, Hudson, Laramie.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Betty Huffman, Turner "Dick", Roy Lee, Marshall Jr. "Johnnie", Billy, Donnie, Floyd "Chuck" Biller.
Per his wishes, his body was cremated.
Pastors Glen Turner and Scott Budde will conduct a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 18th at the Mt. Carmel United Brethren in Christ Church in Fulks Run.
The family will receive friends Friday July 17th from 6-8 P.M. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
