Eunice Fay Young, 88, of Broadway, VA passed away June 21, 2026 at Woodstock Valley Health and Rehab.

She was born on April 8, 1938 to the late Joseph, Jr. and Mary Coleman McCoy in Ponds, Kentucky.

Her husband, Irving Young preceded her in death.

Eunice was a member of the Church of Christ and loved everyone she met. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, cooking, and sewing. As a self- employed seamstress, she took great pride in her work.

Surviving Eunice are sons, Clyde Blevins, Michael Young; daughters, Deborah Buckles, Norma Metzler; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Eunice was also preceded in death by her siblings, Penny, Denver McCoy, Glen McCoy, Lois Davis, James McCoy, Oscar McCoy, Jannelle Berg, Charles; and several grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

All services will be private.
