Everett Herman Lohr, 82, of Broadway , VA passed away at his home April 15, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 21, 1942, and was the son of the late Trovilla and Lillian Mitchell Lohr.

Everett worked for both Rockingham Poultry and Pilgrims Pride.  He was a longtime member of Melrose Church of the Brethren near Harrisonburg.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he and Daniel spent many hours fishing, hunting, and riding around discovering new places.  Many never- to- be- forgotten great times were had together.

On February 28, 1970 he married the former Rosie Mongold, who survives.

Also surviving is his son, Daniel Lohr of Broadway; three sisters-in-law, Barbara, Thelma, and Nancy Lohr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His brothers, Michael Lohr, Larry Lohr, Parry Lohr, Leroy Lohr and wife Janice, preceded him in death.

Pastor Richard Delawder will conduct a funeral service 12:00 PM Friday at Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway.  Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at Grandle Funeral Home.

Friends and family may view and sign the guestbook Thursday from 9 AM – 7 PM.
