Obituary

Everette Lee Kline, Sr., 92, of Timberville, died September 18, 2025 in Rockingham.

He was born March 8, 1933 in Rockingham County and was a son to the late George I. and Cleo Summers Kline.

He retired from Rockingham Poultry as a shipping supervisor.  He was an honest hardworking man. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.  He was a member of Timberville Church of the Nazarene.  Everette was a  Sergeant in the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War.

On December 10, 1952 he married the former Florine Frances Jenkins, who preceded him in death on February 17, 2016.

Surviving are two daughters; Anita Cave and husband Joe, of Timberville, Pat Crites and husband Les, of Timberville, a son; Everette "Buck" Kline, Jr. and wife Judy, of Madison, five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his companion and caretaker; Ann Ringgold, of Rockingham.

Preceding him in death were three sisters; Mildred Mongold, Gladys Holsinger, Geneva Wittig and a brother; Elmo Kline.

Pastor Todd Thomas will conduct a graveside service 2 PM Monday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

Friends and family may pay their respects beginning Sunday from 9 AM- 7 PM at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.  The casket will be closed.

Memorial contributions may be made to Timberville Church of the Nazarene, 15849 New Market Rd., Timberville, VA 22853.
