Frances Fawley, 103, went home to Jesus on October 14, 2023.

She was born Frances Louise Fulk on June 19, 1920 in Fulks Run, Virginia to Joseph A. and Hattie Belle Fulk who preceded her in death.  Brothers, Owen and Paul Fulk, and sisters, Kathleen Ritchie and Mary Turner, are also deceased.

Frances graduated from Broadway High School in 1938.  She met and married Stanley Dean Fawley in 1943.  They lived in Alexandria, Virginia and she worked for the Core of Engineers at the Pentagon, retiring in 1972.  They returned to Fulks Run to live out their days together and in service of the Lord.  Having lost Stanley in 2009, Frances is now reunited with her dear husband.  Frances will be remembered for her cheerful attitude and warm chuckle by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Shipe and Virginia Ann Hulvey, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may pay their respects and sign a guestbook at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway on Thursday from 9 AM- 7PM.  The family will be present from 4 PM- 6 PM.  A memorial service to honor Frances will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00am at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be private.
