Helen Louise Bradfield, 84, of Broadway VA, passed away November 24,2024 at Life Care Center in New Market VA.

She was born November 28, 1939 in Broadway VA to the late Stanley W. and Alberta Lam Whetzel.

Helen worked for 27 years as a seamstress with H.D. Lee Company and retired after 15 years at Hartz.  She was a member at Bethel Mennonite Church near Broadway.

On April 5, 1958 she married  Aaron Bradfield who preceded her in death on December 30, 2023.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Brenda Dovel of Luray, son, Beverly M. Bradfield and wife Lina of Mathias WV, grandchildren; Wesley Siever (Kimberly), Terry Dovel, Ashley Dovel, Nathan Bradfield (Angie), Jordon Bradfield, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Bonnie Whetzel Crider of Broadway, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor's Steve Estep, Milard Sonifrank and Dale Brubaker will conduct a funeral service Saturday 11:00 AM at Bethel Mennonite Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may view and sign a guestbook on Friday from 9 AM- 7 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
