Henry Phillip Gordon, 71, of Linville, VA passed away November 2, 2025 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

He was born May 8, 1954 in Harrisonburg to the late Roy and JoAnn Cromer Gordon.

Henry was a carpenter, and an insulation installer at Rockingham Insulation.  He loved to go to the mountains with his dogs and hunt.  He enjoyed spending time with his brothers at his cabin.

On May 6, 1989 he married the former Cathy Silvious who survives.

Henry is also survived by his brother, Owen Gordon; sisters, Gwen Cook, Lois Black; and numerous nieces and nephews.

One brother, Sam Gordon preceded him in death.

Upon Henry's request, he was cremated.  The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM Wednesday, November 5th at Henry and Cathy's residence.

There will be no services at Grandle Funeral Home.
