Henry Clarence Jenkins, 89, of Timberville, died February 6, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

He was born October 19, 1934 in Moorefield, WV and was a son to the late Ross and Lethy Sager Jenkins.

Henry had worked at Cargill.

On November 26, 1955 he married the former Anna Virginia Miller, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters; Cathy Shrader (Dwight), of Port Republic, Tamara Ritchie (Jim), of Timberville, a son; Michael Jenkins (Deanna), of Broadway, seven grandchildren; Jon Shrader (Shana), of Richmond, James Shrader (Kari), of Port Republic, Brandi Seal (Robert), of Fishersville, Jesse Ritchie, of Timberville, Lynnsey Ritchie, of Broadway, Ryan Jenkins (Katelee), of Broadway, Tyler Jenkins, of Broadway, eight great grandchildren; Gavin Shrader, Emerson Shrader, Kaili Shrader, Hailey Shrader, Sadie Seal, Cora Seal, Keylee Ritchie, Lucas Jenkins, two great great grandchildren; Xander Mohr, Ren Mohr, and two sisters; Beverly Henry (Bob), of Ohio, Faye Cooper, of Winchester.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; James Jenkins, Victor Jenkins, Lyle Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, and three sisters; Anna Reel, Alice Hall, Mary Hott.

Minister Matthew Hartford will conduct a graveside service 2 PM Saturday at Rader Lutheran Cemetery in Timberville.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. Those wishing to sign a guest book may do so beginning Friday at 9 AM.
