Herbert Andrew Sonifrank II

Herbert Andrew Sonifrank II, 76, of Bergton, VA passed away September 22, 2026 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 29, 1950 in Rockingham County to the late Herbert A., Sr. and Charlotte May Sonifrank.

Herbert was self-employed in the rental property business. He was a member of Damascus Church of the Brethren.

On April 22, 1976 he married the former Sandra Sue Mongold, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Christine Knicely (Donnie) of Fulks Run, Sarah Kissel (John) of Hancock, VA; one granddaughter, Sara Emily Swindell; three grandsons, Zachary Reedy, Ryan Lovelace, Sean Lovelace; two great grandchildren, Lilly and Lee Swindell; and one sister, Patty.

Herbert’s request was to be cremated. There will be no services.
