Hilda Beedle Wilt, 90 of Timberville VA passed away on February 8, 2024 at Sunnyside Retirement Community in Harrisonburg VA.

She was born March 16, 1933 in Forestville VA, to the late Homer Franklin and Mae Rebecca Golladay Beedle.

Hilda retired from WLR and was a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Timberville.

On December 18, 1954 she married the late Franklin Lee Wilt Jr., who preceded her in death on March 20, 1990.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy Wilt Murphy of Timberville, son; Franklin Lee Wilt III of Dayton VA, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by sister's; Beryl Golladay Miller, Lola Beedle Vaughn, brothers Erman Beedle, Harold" Jim" Beedle.

Pastor Karl Magenhofer will conduct a funeral service 1:00 pm Tuesday at Mount Olivet Church of the Brethren near Timberville. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near Timberville.

Friends may view and sign a guest book Monday from 9 AM – 7 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
