Jeffory Scott Combs, 53, of Broadway, passed away on February 29, 2024 at Armor Ridge Group Home in Churchville VA.

He was born August 24, 1970 in Harrisonburg VA to Larry Combs of Penn Laird VA and Teresa Wine of Broadway VA.

Jeffory never met a stranger and with his handicap he was well liked and loved by all, and his smile would light up a room. He was the apple of his grandfather, Chick's eye. He enjoyed going on family trips, participating at Camp Still Meadows and getting numerous awards there. Jeffory was avid Washington Redskins fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one aunt, one uncle, numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Glendon "Chick" and Betty Wine, Lonnie and Lelia Combs.

His body was cremated.

Family will receive friends Monday(today) from 6-8 pm at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

The family would like to thank all those who have helped in any way of taking care of Jeffory, from doctors, therapist, in home Health Care, and those at Armor Ridge Group Home for their care for him in his short time there.  Also, his housemates for making his time there memorable, and to the numerous friends he made throughout the years.
