Juliana Faulconer Ritchie, 80, of Broadway, passed away March 19, 2026 at her home.

She was born October 21, 1945 in Charlottesville and was a daughter to the late James Carl and Georgiana Susan Heermance Faulconer.

She worked as a secretary at Timberville Church of the Brethren.  Juliana enjoyed target shooting, dog agility training, herding and bird watching.  She also helped tutor children.  She was a member of the Broadway Presbyterian Church where she was active in helping with the Broadway Presbyterian Food Pantry.

On May 12, 1990 she married Ellis Ritchie, who survives.

Also surviving are a son; Alfred Bishop, III, of Frederick, MD, two granddaughters; Sarah and Megan Bishop, both of Frederick, MD, a stepdaughter; Tracy Ritchie, of Dayton and four step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter; Amy Scerbo.

Rev. Richard Moll will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway.  Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
