Kathryn Jean Ford, 84, of Timberville, died April 12, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

She was born January 5, 1940 in Fulks Run and was a daughter to the late Charles O. and Muriel Lam Scudder.

She worked as a U.S.D.A inspector and attended Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene and Sunset Drive United Methodist Church.  Kathryn enjoyed gardening and country music, especially George Jones.  Her grandchildren were very important to her.

She was married to James E. Lee Ford, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2011.  She was also married to Don Wiley, who preceded her in death.

Surviving her are a daughters; Lois Jean Dinges, of Timberville, Sharlee Rodriguez, of Williamsburg, a son; Ralph L. Ford, of Timberville, 12 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and a number of great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons; James Michael Ford, Terry Lee Ford, Rickey Lester Ford and six siblings.

Pastor Tommy Crosby will conduct a funeral service 10 AM Saturday at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway.  Burial will follow at Mtn. Grove Cemetery in Fulks Run.  A reception will follow the burial at Sunset Drive United Methodist Church in Broadway.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
