Keith Norman Ritchie

Keith Norman Ritchie, 72, of Bayse passed away October 14, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at the Winchester Medical Center.

He was born November 9, 1953 in Harrisonburg to the late Layman and Lucille Crites Ritchie.

Keith was the owner and operator of K.R. Building. He had a love for life, a good time, and an infectious laugh that could often be heard as he joked and teased with those he loved. Throughout his life, Keith enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time on the water and driving his Corvette.

Surviving are three brothers, Wayne Carl Ritchie, Roger Ritchie, Billy Ritchie and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda June Wittig, Bonnie Sue Cave; Norman “Chic” Crites who was like a brother; and a niece, Flory Ritchie.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway, where the casket will be closed.

Pastor Steve Morris will conduct a private graveside service Saturday at 2:00 PM at Caplinger Cemetery in Criders.
