Lettie Velma Dove Caplinger, 100 of Bergton, VA, passed away July 22, 2025 at her residence.

She was born April 6, 1925 in Criders VA to the late Benjamin Albert and Ada Ethel Dove.

Lettie was a homemaker and member of Caplinger United Methodist Church in Criders VA.

On February 6,1947 she married Harlin Archie Caplinger who preceded her in death on September 19, 2012.

Lettie is survived by daughters, Dorothy Fulk and Brenda Caplinger of Bergton VA, grandson Wesley Fulk of Bergton VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brother, Allen Edward Dove, sisters; Minnie Fulk, Effie Whetzel and Lucy E. Dove.

Per request her body will be cremated.

Friends may sign the guestbook Monday from 9am- 7 pm at Grandle Funeral Home.

Pastors Lewis Paugh and Hiliary Evans will conduct a graveside service Tuesday 10:00 am, July 29, 2025 at Caplinger's Cemetery in Criders VA.
