Lois Jeanette Hinegardner, 91, of Timberville, VA passed away December 25, 2024 at her residence.

She was born November 4, 1933 in New Market, to the late John W. and Vallie Landis Zirkle.

Lois was a homemaker.  She was a member of Smith Creek Baptist Church in New Market.  She loved flower and vegetable gardening, bird watching, and metal detecting.

On August 24, 1955 she married she married James Hinegardner, who survives.

Lois is also survived by her daughter, Sherri Gregory and husband Benny of Rockingham; sons, Gregg Hinegardner and wife Michelle of Bridgewater, Kevin Hinegardner and wife Jocelyn of Rockingham, Brian Hinegardner of Timberville; sisters, Anna Lou Golladay of Mechanicsburg, PA, Nancy L. Williams of Broadway, Ruth Ann Kiser of Rockingham, Gladys V. Blosser of Timberville; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Pastor Brent Hockema will conduct a graveside service 2:00 PM Saturday at Zirkle Family Cemetery in New Market.

A guestbook will be available to sign Friday from 9 AM- 7 PM at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.  The casket will be closed.
