Lucy Mongold Good, 92, of Timberville and formerly of Broadway, died December 3, 2024 at Timberview Crossing in Timberville.

She was born October 12, 1932 in Hardy County, WV and was a daughter to the late Elmer and Clara Sirk Mongold.

She retired from National Fruit and Produce after working nearly 40 years in retail.  She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and also a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed beach trips.

On June 10, 1950 she married Vernon A. Good, who survives.

Surviving is a sister; Treva Mongold, sister's-in-law; Judy Mongold, Loretta Frantz, Evelyn Kenney and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and six sisters.

Pastor Donnie Owen will conduct a graveside service 2 PM on Friday at Linville Creek Cemetery in Broadway.

There will not be any services at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family appreciates the loving care given to Lucy from the wonderful staff and administration at Timberview Crossing and Legacy Hospice.
