Mary Louise Crites, 84, of Harrisonburg, VA passed away September 17, 2024 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab. Center.

She was born November 24, 1939 in Neals Run, WV to the late Ira and Jessie Manning Judy.

Mary was a housewife.  She loved bowling and collecting cookbooks.  She had served as a den leader for the Boy Scouts.

On December 1, 1956 she married Willis Grove Crites who preceded her in death April 7, 2019.

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Muterspaugh and husband Timothy of Harrisonburg, Debbie Meadows and husband David of Elkton; two sons, Gary Crites of Roanoke, Chris Crites and wife Beth of Penn Laird; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Terry Judy of Harrisonburg; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Judy; and one great grandchild.

Pastor Josh Cox will conduct a funeral service 11:00 A.M. Monday at Grace Mennonite Church in Lacey Springs.  Burial will be in the Lacey Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

There will be no viewing or visitation at Grandle Funeral Home.
