Mary Lee Halterman, 72, of Harrisonburg, VA passed away March 21, 2024 at her residence.

She was born February 17, 1952 in Rockingham County, to the late Sheffie Halterman and Mazie Dove Halterman Stump.

Mary had worked at Walmart in Florida.

Surviving are two daughters, Amelia Martinez, Kelly Evans, both of Rockingham; two sons, Robert Taylor, Harold Taylor III, both of Rockingham; two sisters, Linda Crider of Timberville, Elma Jean Crawford of TN; one brother, Moses Halterman of NC; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

One sister, Geneva Ritchie, and one brother, Bennie Halterman preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday at Halterman Family Cemetery in Mathias, WV.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 PM Sunday at Grandle Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grandle Funeral Home, P.O. Box 114, Broadway, VA  22815, to help offset funeral expenses.
