Mary Alice Schmidt, 73, of Timberville, VA passed away April 30, 2025 at her residence.

She was born December 7, 1951 to the late Glenn Brumley, Sr. and Ruth Shirley McKernan Pusey.

Mary was a security guard.  She was a member of Woods Chapel Independent Bible Church.  She loved being around her family and friends.

On December 11, 2010 she married Leland Allen Schmidt, Jr. who preceded her in death April 10, 2022.

Surviving are three step-sons, Timothy Allen Schmidt and wife Rachael, Thomas Joe Schmidt and wife Tammy, Tony Ray Schmidt and partner Tabitha Rogers; one step-daughter, Tara Ann Schmidt Seal and husband Billy Seal; grandchildren, Dakota Drummond, Elizabith Schmidt and fiancé Dakota Liskey, Quentin Schmidt and wife Breanna, Kendra Schmidt Turner and husband Jordan, Ashley Schmidt, Casey Armentrout and husband Cody, Destiny Drummond and fiancé Christian Hottinger; Kimberly Schmidt, Matthew Schmidt, Trinity Rogers, Kiley Rogers; great grandchildren, Jayson Schmidt, Emma Schmidt, Abigail Turner, Easton Liskey.

One great grandchild, Harper Schmidt, preceded her in death.

Mary was cremated, and a memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Glen Turner at 3 PM on Saturday, May 10th at Woods Chapel Independent Bible Church in New Market.
