Meade Rudolph Siever Sr., 83, of Mt. Jackson died November 11, 2023 at the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.

He was born December 16, 1939 near Cootes Store in Broadway to the late Benjamin Franklin and Melba Landis Siever.

Meade worked for H&H construction after retiring from Lantz Construction. He enjoyed good food, visiting friends and telling stories. He loved his coworker families. He enjoyed his beloved cats. Meade was looking forward to going to his heavenly home but didn't want to leave his loved ones behind.

On December 9, 1983 he married the former Velda Rae Williams who survives.

Also surviving are children, Susan Kearns, Sharon Ogden, Deborah Baker, Thomas Siever, Delores See, Cynthia Martin, Meade Siever Jr, Kenny Siever; four stepchildren; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger D. Siever and a sister, Linda Lindamood.

His body was cremated, and a burial service will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
