Opal Ardine Siever Shipe, 93, of Mathias, WV, passed away on January 4, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born on November 4, 1929 in Criders, VA and was a daughter of the late Ada Dove and LeRoy Siever.

She worked at HD Lee for 28 years until she retired.

On December 24, 1947, she married Gola Brown Shipe who preceded her in death on November 24, 2001.

Surviving is her son, Dennis "Bud" G. Shipe of Mathias, WV; two grandchildren, Darrell W. Shipe, Billie Jo Keplinger; and two sisters, Norvalee McAlister of Timberville, Janice Custer of Hershey, PA.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Bruce Shipe.

Her body was cremated and there will be no services at this time.
