Obituary

Otis "Biggie" Lee Parker, Sr., 84, of Timberville, VA died March 18, 2025 at his residence.

He was born February 7, 1941 in Needmore, WV to the late Branson and Effie Hammon Parker.

He drove a truck for Mountain Milk.  He also had driven for Tuck Roadcap and Rockingham Poultry.  He was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren.  He loved going to the cabin to cut wood and play cards with the guys.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

On December 22, 1973 he married the former Phyllis Jean Hottinger, who preceded him in death December 25, 2013.

Surviving are his children, Teresa Eaton and husband Brent of Linville, Robert Parker and wife Lisa of Timberville, Laura Quick and husband Steve of Broadway, Otis Lee Parker, Jr. and wife Melissa of Broadway, Spencer "Dink" Crawford and wife Penny of Timberville, Amanda Grummel and husband Chris of Harrisonburg; one sister, Rena Siever; one brother, Bill Parker; special friend, Isabell Benitez; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Numerous brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Pastor Rob Nykamp will conduct a memorial service 2:00 PM Saturday at Fairview Church of the Brethren near Endless Caverns.
