Randy Eugene Dove, 61, of Bergton, VA passed away peacefully at his home October 5, 2024.

He was born July 2, 1963 in Rockingham County to the late Altie Dove and Stanley Rexrode.

Randy had worked as a Class 3 operator at Merillat in Mt. Jackson.  He was a member of the Valley Cruisers and the Shenandoah Valley Knife Club.  He was an avid hunter, and knife collector, and made his own knives.

Surviving is Randy's best friend, Gabby Morris of Bergton; close friends, Kim Shifflett, Rodney Nesselrodt; 2 nephews; 1 niece; and his dog companions, Lussee and Colby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents that helped raise him, Howard and Edna Mongold; and his brother, Gary Dove.

Pastor Steve Stevenson will conduct a graveside service Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 PM at Caplinger Cemetery in Criders.  His body was cremated.
