Randy Lee Sherman

Randy Lee Sherman, 67, of Bergton, passed away November 3, 2026 surrounded by loved ones, at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg VA.

He was born June 26, 1959 in Harrisonburg and was a son of the late Freddie and Anna Corbin Sherman.

On January 21, 1978 he married the former Carolyn Dove, who survives.

Randy was a self-employed Electrician. He always prided himself in his unmistakable quality of work. After retirement Randy and Jessie “Bud” Propst enjoyed various hobbies, doing restoration projects. He also enjoyed squirrel hunting, black powder shooting and fishing.

Also surviving are a son, Andy L. Sherman; Granddaughter, Jocelyn A. Sherman; a brother, Jeffrey S. Sherman; special nephew Tristan S. Wilfong who was like a brother; sister-in-laws, Kathy Sherman, Pam Sherman and Terri Loving; brother in laws, Eric Dove and Brian Dove; numerous nieces, nephews and aunts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny K. Sherman and Jerry A. Sherman; sister, Peggy A. Taylor.

A memorial service will be conducted by Bob Curns and Dennis Lantz at Mathias Church of the Brethren Saturday November 7, 2026 at 2:00 P.M.

Per Randy’s request, his body will be cremated.

There will be no services at the Funeral Home.
