Ray William Secrist, 90, of Broadway, died December 21, 2024 at Journey's Crossing Assisted Living in Elkton.

He was born January 27, 1934 in Criders, VA and was a son to the late Casper and Dracie Fink Secrist.

Ray retired as a setup operator at Walker Manufacturing.  He was a member of Bethel Church of the Brethren in Mayland.

On June 4, 1955 he married the former Loretta M. Wilt, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters; Debra Wilson, of Broadway, Teresa Fleming, of Broadway, Kristen Secrist, of Broadway, three grandsons; Jeremy Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Styles Simmers, four great grandchildren; Allison Wilson, Preston and Parker Wilson, Zaiden Simmers, and one brother; Woodrow Secrist, of Harrisonburg.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; Waldo Secrist, Monroe Secrist, Junior Secrist.

Pastor Glen Turner will conduct a graveside service January 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm, at Linville Creek Cemetery in Broadway.

His wishes were to be cremated and there will not be any services at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
