Richard Leon Showalter, 76, of Linville Va, passed away February 18, 2025 at his residence.

He was born October 3,1948 in Rockingham County to the late Mark and Naomi Rohrer Showalter.

Richard worked as a Surveyor and a Farmer/Grower for Farmer Focus in Harrisonburg.

He married the former Deborah Greene, who survives.

Richard is survived by son, Max Showalter; of WV, grandson; Miles Showalter, brother, Harry Showalter of Rockingham, VA, sister; Josie Showalter of Rockingham, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

His body will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
