Robert Roger Ritchie, 81, of Broadway and formerly of Mathias, WV, died April 2, 2026 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

He was born July 5, 1944 in Harrisonburg and was a son to the late John Everett and Golda Wilson Ritchie, Jr.

Bob retired from working as a pipeliner.  He was a member of Ivanhoe Presbyterian Church in Mathias, WV.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law; Jennifer Ritchie, of Broadway and a special great niece; Savannah Ritchie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Sheridan Ritchie, Karl Ritchie and wife Yvonne "Cookie", Jim Ritchie and wife Sharon.

Pastor's Richard Delawder and Joel Thornton will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ivanhoe Presbyterian Church on Lower Cove Rd. in Mathias, WV.  Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mathias.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-7 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway, VA.
